Meet Anna

Anna received her Bachelor's in Psychology and minor in Sociology from the University of New Hampshire in 2004. After college, she worked at her family’s computer software company for over ten years until she started her family. In 2014, Anna started working as a special education para educator in a middle school, and thoroughly enjoyed working with children, however her passion of holistic health and cooking healthy foods for her family led her on the path to enroll in graduate school to get her Masters of Science in Holistic Nutrition from American College of Healthcare Sciences where she graduated on the Dean's List in June 2020. Anna is also a 2020 graduate of the Forks Over Knives Plant-Based Home-Chef Cooking Course and has her Certificate of Plant-Based Nutrition from T. Colin Campbell Center of Nutrition Studies and eCornell. Anna thoroughly enjoys her holistic nutrition coaching business and partnering with clients to help them heal holistically with support, understanding, compassion, respect, and guidance.

What is a nutrition coach?

A nutrition coach works with their client in a partnership to encourage and develop creative ideas and personal health and nutrition goals that the client works towards with encouragement and support from the coach. A nutrition coach does not diagnose, analyze, or treat any medical or mental health disorders, and coaching is not to be used in lieu of therapy, psychotherapy, or counseling.

What can I expect while working with Anna?

Rice and Chicken

Nutrition coaching is a thoughtful, enlightening, and energy invested process that can take time, and therefore 12 sessions of the coaching partnership is encouraged. We will start with an intake session where we will get to know one another and form a partnership as we talk about your goals going forward. Next, we will meet weekly or bi-weekly and work together on your nutritional goals to start the journey of optimizing your overall wellness. We can work together on:

  • healthy food choices

  • meal planning

  • nutritional needs

  • educational materials

  • individualized meal plans

  • food and nutrition advice

  • good eating habits

  • accountability for your health and wellness goals.

Some clients are interested in a nutrition consult and not interested in a nutrition coaching relationship. That is totally fine! You can set up a one time appointment with Anna to help you with your nutrition questions and/or concerns.
